RESPONSIBILITIES

We are a brave, positive, and well-functioning team of social workers who are now looking for our next colleague as we expand our team with another investigative social worker! With us, we work from a holistic perspective focusing on the child's needs, well-being, and development. We believe that collaboration, both internally and externally, is of utmost importance to provide our children and young people with the best opportunities in life. We are the small municipality that has close access to decision-making, and where mandates are delegated far down in the organization, so you will have both responsibility and the opportunity to fully utilize your competence.

As a social worker in our unit, you will work together with 4 other child and youth investigators, a reception secretary, 5 child secretaries, and 2 foster care secretaries with authority regarding children and youth. We have also expanded the unit with a parent secretary. We are in the process of expanding our teams to develop our operations. You will work from a holistic perspective, based on Signs of Safety, around the child and family where collaboration with the family's network and other services such as BVC, schools, and open care is a given.

In your role, you will follow the child during the investigation and follow-up of interventions. Thus, building relationships with children, parents, the family's network, and other services that the family is in contact with is part of your work. In placements, the child secretaries will take over the follow-ups. It will also be part of your work to be brave and dare to think and try new things, of course within the framework of the laws and regulations that govern your area of work.

We will of course tailor the introduction to your individual needs and offer training and regular supervision. For example, the workgroup meets every week for joint supervision, you will be offered individual supervision from team leaders and unit managers, and the workgroup has external supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in working according to the above, someone who feels that this team is where I want to be a part of or who thinks that this position, in this municipality, sounds perfectly suited for me where I can thrive and contribute with my competence. In other words, we are looking for someone who truly has an interest in the role and believes in our way of working and organizing, but also someone who is open to developing in various positions within Children and Youth.

Of course, you also need to meet the more formal requirements. You should have a degree in social work. Previous experience in investigative work within social services, preferably with children and youth, is also meritorious, but equally important are your personal suitability, engagement, and attitude. If you have previously worked according to Signs of Safety, that is an advantage.

As a person, you have the ability to listen to different perspectives and collaborate with others. You are also good at structuring your work, prioritizing, and carrying out the tasks you have. Furthermore, you are familiar with applicable legislation and have a good ability to express yourself in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing. You are interested in learning and developing in your work and take personal responsibility for ongoing knowledge development.
